We live in a time that demands ever more flexibility from companies. Product life cycles are becoming shorter, the market is changing faster, and many employees desire flexible and shorter working hours, as the definition of "being successful" is shifting towards more leisure time for an increasing number of people.

Why strategy?

Without strategy, nobody in the company knows what to do. Probably the best example of strategy is American Football, because here games are no longer won just by having the best players, but with strategy that can "surprise" the opposing team.

If a company's strategy is not keeping pace with the times, sustainable market positioning and thus a successful future is at risk and can hardly be avoided, and if so, only at great expense. The most well-known company to have made a serious strategic mistake is probably Nokia. The world's most successful mobile phone manufacturer from 1998 to 2010 has virtually disappeared as a brand from the mobile phone market.

Retaining employees in the company

That is why we also support companies by conducting exit interviews with employees. In these interviews, the true reason that ultimately led to an employee leaving the company can usually be determined. Only when the company is aware of this reason can it respond and avoid this mistake in the future.
